What we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Effective date: June 10, 2026
Fourteen Feathers Bookkeeping ("Fourteen Feathers," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and your choices. We serve clients in the United States only.
What we do not collect through the website: we do not ask for bank login credentials, full account numbers, or Social Security numbers through any form on this site.
By submitting a form or booking a call, you consent to this use of your information.
We use an email service provider to send marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our business mailing address, and we honor opt-outs promptly. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business, such as our email, scheduling, and bookkeeping software and our email host, and only as needed for them to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law. For clients, see the section on client financial information below.
Your financial records are confidential. We access them only for the purpose of providing your bookkeeping, we limit access to that purpose, and we never use your financial data for our own purposes. On termination of services, we return or delete your records as described in your engagement, except where we must retain certain records to meet tax or legal obligations. If a data breach affects your information, we will notify you without unreasonable delay.
We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information, including using read-only access to accounts wherever possible and keeping sensitive documents in secure storage rather than email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and tax recordkeeping requirements, then we delete it.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information through the contact form on this site. We honor these requests promptly, subject to records we are required to keep. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
This site uses Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use it, which helps us keep it useful. It sets cookies in your browser and shares basic usage data, such as the pages you visit, your device, and your general location, with Google. We do not use it for advertising. Google explains how it handles this data in its privacy policy.
Analytics is on by default. You can opt out anytime with the button below or the cookie banner, block cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out add-on. Opting out changes nothing else on the site.
Our website and services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date above.
